About the Citroën ë-C3 (2024)
Independent spec and rating reference. No offers, no sales.
The ë-C3 is the electric variant of the fourth-generation C3, built on the Stellantis Smart Car platform. Citroën presented it in October 2023 and European sales started in 2024. The car uses a 44 kWh LFP battery and a single 83 kW (113 hp) front motor; Citroën states up to 320 km WLTP (manufacturer figure, not measured by us). DC charging is rated at up to 100 kW, which is on the high side for a small affordable EV. Body and cabin are shared with the petrol C3.
In practice
Owner real-world data is still thin for this model year. On comparable 44 kWh small EVs, public forums report 20 to 30 percent less than WLTP at motorway speed and in winter (not measured by us). The 100 kW DC peak only holds for a window in the middle of the curve; total fast-charging session time depends on the charger and the state of charge. The boot is 310 l, average for the B-segment, with a body slightly raised on the wheels for more cabin space.
Points to note
At introduction Citroën also announced a cheaper short-range version around 200 km WLTP at a lower price point; check the official configurator for the actual variant on offer in your market. The lowest trim is plain; verify the equipment list at an official dealer. The indicative starting price stands at 23,300 euro for the 320 km version, a starting price, not an offer and not a forecast.
