Who comes here
People in the research phase, comparing their next car and not yet sure which one it will be.
autoseeker is an independent EU car-spec search engine with specs, per-category ratings and owner reviews, each carrying a source and a reference date. There is no marketplace, no vehicle sales and no lease or insurance funnel. Because we do not sell cars ourselves, we never have to talk anyone into one.
The audience is largely non-technical: ordinary car buyers who want to understand what a range figure, a towing weight or the company-car tax (the benefit-in-kind percentage on a lease car) means for them. That is why we keep the language here plain and jargon-free. These readers take their time to compare and decide, and that is exactly the moment an auto-related brand wants to be present.
What we will not do is throw around inflated visitor numbers. Ask for the current figures by email and you get what is traceable, with the rest honestly labelled as indicative. We would rather show a small figure that holds up than a big one nobody can check.
Why the context works
The editorial side is independent, and that trust is what the site runs on. An ad sitting next to independent content lands differently than the same ad surrounded only by other advertising. Below you will find, per advertiser type, the pages whose context fits on its own.

What you can book
The ad positions are already built into the site, visually separated from the editorial content and labelled as advertising. Available forms:
Direct placements
Fixed placement (direct)
You buy a position from us directly, for a period. No intermediary. This is the form we prefer for auto-related brands.
Sponsored guide
An editorial guide on your topic, labelled as sponsored up front and visibly. A paid guide like this never appears as an independent judgement and touches no rating at all. Think of topics such as charging infrastructure, seasonal tyre choice, switching from diesel to EV, or a fuel-type guide aimed at a specific driving profile. How we keep it separate from the independent editorial is set out in the public policy.
Read the transparency and methodology policyPositions by page type
Positions on EV model pages
A block in its natural environment, for example a charging card next to the specs of an electric car, or a tyre shop on the model pages of common cars.
124 orderable EV modelsIndex pages
A block on the electric-cars index or the main catalogue across all fuel types, where readers scroll through the line-up.
274 EU models, all fuel typesGuided car finder
By agreement also the car finder, where visitors actively pick fuel, body style and budget. A relevant moment for charging and tyre advertisers.
See the car finderConsumption & range calculators
The consumption calculators (official vs real-world fuel use, and EV range in cold weather). Visitors there are actively thinking about consumption and range, a relevant moment for a charging-card or EV-rental brand.
See the calculatorsFuel-switching guides
The fuel-switching guides (petrol or diesel to EV, PHEV (plug-in hybrid) or hybrid), where readers are actively orienting on a change. Relevant for charging-card, home-charger and tyre advertisers.
See the switching guidesHow a banner is delivered, technically
A direct placement is a static first-party banner: a plain image, served from our own domain. No ad network, no external scripts, no auction. That has three practical consequences you rarely get elsewhere:
- No trackers and no cookie banner. The banner loads as a plain image; your brand appears without a consent pop-up in front of it.
- Practically unblockable. Ad blockers filter ad networks and third-party scripts — we use neither, so the banner renders on virtually every page view.
- Delivery and turnaround. Formats: leaderboard 728×90 (desktop) / 320×100 (mobile), MPU 300×250, in-content responsive. PNG, SVG or AVIF, ideally at 1× and 2× (retina). Live in the next deploy, usually within one working day — always with a visible ad label and technically marked as paid.
The independence promise
I sell the ads and I also write the ratings, and that only holds up as long as the two never touch. This is not buried in the small print; it is what the whole site rests on.
- Ads and sponsored placements never influence a rating or a specification. The figures follow the public methodology and its stated sources only.
- An advertiser gets no preview of a score, no influence over it and no way to have a figure adjusted.
- With insufficient data a score stays empty, even where that is commercially inconvenient.
- Every ad is visually separated from the editorial content and labelled as advertising. Affiliate links are also marked as paid in a way search engines can read, so the commercial relationship is clear to machines as well as readers.
Questions about advertising
What ad formats are available?
Fixed direct placements, contextual positions on model, index, finder, calculator and switching-guide pages, and sponsored editorial guides. Seven placement formats in total; they are listed above.
Do ads influence the ratings?
No, never. The figures follow the public methodology only. An advertiser gets no preview of, and no influence over, any figure, not even afterwards.
How do I enquire about availability?
Email contact@autoseeker.eu with your brand, the placement type you want and the period. You typically receive a reply within one business day with available positions and an indicative price.
Can I target the EV model pages specifically?
Yes. The 124 orderable EV model pages are available as a separate position. Relevant for charging-card, home-charger and EV-rental brands.
How quickly does a placement go live?
After agreement and payment we place the ad in the next build, typically within one business day.
Ask for the available positions
Interested in a fixed placement or a sponsored guide? Email us. Include your brand, the type of placement and the period you want, and we will send back the available positions, the current figures and an indicative price. We typically respond within one business day.
