About the Opel Grandland Hybrid 136 (2024)
Independent spec and rating reference. No offers, no sales.
The second Grandland arrived in 2024 on the STLA Medium platform from Stellantis, technically related to the new Peugeot 3008. It is a C-segment SUV, larger and more angular than the previous Grandland. The entry drivetrain is the Hybrid 136: a 1.2 three-cylinder turbo with a 48V mild-hybrid and a six-speed dual-clutch. This is not a plug-in; the plug-in and the fully electric version are listed separately. The mild-hybrid battery is small and charges itself.
In practice
WLTP consumption is around 5.8 l/100km (manufacturer figure, not measured by us). The 48V support works mainly when pulling away and in the city; on the motorway it yields little. Practical data from owners is for this model year still limited. The indicative list price started around 37,950 euro at introduction and is now 38,999 euro, a starting price, not an offer and not a forecast.
Points to note
The platform and the drivetrain are new, so reliability and resale value are set to insufficient data: there is as yet no ADAC failure statistic or resale-value price list for this generation. The boot of 550 l is generous for the class. Check the towing weight and the equipment list per version at the official dealer; the entry equipment is sober.
