What owners report online about the Corsa

This is a **summary of public discussions**, not an owner review collected by us. Recurring points: concerns about the wet timing belt of the 1.2 PureTech engine (owners advise strict oil and service intervals; later builds switched to a chain); the three-cylinder sounds and vibrates noticeably at cold start and high revs; flat seats and a bouncy motorway ride, especially on larger wheels; owners report real-world consumption closer to 6-6.5 l/100km than the WLTP figure. See the sources for the original, complete posts.

In depth

The 1.2 Turbo petrol with 100 hp is the common version. WLTP consumption around 5.6 l/100km (manufacturer figure, indicative); owners report more like 6-6.5 l/100km in mixed use (public forums, not measured by us). The 309 l boot is on the cramped side for the class.

About the Opel Corsa F 1.2 Turbo (2024)

Independent spec and rating reference. No offers, no sales.

The Corsa F sits on the CMP platform from Stellantis, shared with the Peugeot 208. The 1.2 Turbo three-cylinder with 100 hp is the common petrol; below it sits a 75 hp version without turbo. The 2023 facelift mainly renewed the front and the naming of the equipment levels, not the drivetrain.

In practice

WLTP is around 5.6 l/100km (manufacturer figure, not measured by us). In practice owners report in mixed use around 6.3 l/100km (owner forums, n≈18, not measured by us), higher on the motorway. The indicative list price rose from about 22,250 euro (reference date early 2024) to 23,999 euro now, a starting price, not an offer and not a forecast.

Points to note

The boot of 309 l is on the small side for the B-segment; the rear space is average. The 1.2 three-cylinder is audible when pulling away. Check per equipment level which driver assistance systems are standard at the official dealer; the entry level lacks a number of options. The wet timing belt of this engine requires replacement on schedule, a known point of attention with the Stellantis three-cylinders (owner reports, historical, not verified by us).
