What owners report online about the C3

This is a **summary of public discussions**, not an owner review collected by us. Recurring points: praise for the comfortable seats, the soft ride at city speeds and the low price; criticism that the suspension turns noisy and crashy over short, sharp bumps; a lot of hard, scratchy plastic inside; early infotainment software froze or lagged for some owners, often improved by updates; the PureTech 100 is no sprinter, but owners report frugal real-world consumption. See the sources for the original, complete posts.

In depth

The petrol version is the PureTech 100 (1.2 three-cylinder turbo); WLTP consumption around 5.6 l/100km (manufacturer figure, indicative). Shares the body with the electric ë-C3 (photo). Indicative starting price, check the official configurator for the current figure.

About the Citroën C3 (2024)

Independent spec and rating reference. No offers, no sales.

The third-generation C3 came to market in 2024 on the Stellantis Smart Car platform, shared with the electric ë-C3. The car sits slightly higher on the wheels than the previous C3 and aims at a low entry price. The petrol version is the PureTech 100: a 1.2 three-cylinder turbo with 100 hp. The photo shown is the electric ë-C3; petrol and EV variant share the same body.

In practice

WLTP consumption for the PureTech 100 is around 5.6 l/100km (manufacturer figure, not measured by us). Owner real-world data for this model year is still limited; the earlier PureTech engines typically ran 0.5 to 1 l/100km above WLTP in practice (public forums, not measured by us, different generation). The indicative list price started around 18,990 euro at introduction and now stands at 19,490 euro, a starting price, not an offer and not a forecast.

Points to note

The PureTech three-cylinder had discussion in older generations about the timing belt; whether that applies to the new engine in this C3 cannot yet be underpinned with real-world data, so we leave that rating blank. The lowest equipment level is plain; check the equipment list at the official dealer. The 310 l boot is average for the B-segment.
